Biosociates are my partners for delivering solutions
I have the ability to analyse a people-based situation quickly, combining a coaching approach and sector knowledge. Solutions to this analysis stage often depend on building a small expert team of people I know very well - I have termed these partners as Biosociates. They have complementary personalities, technical skills and bring a wider perspective. I bring these Biosociates together in project teams to address solutions in areas such as:
Market Research - building evidence for national skills initiatives such as the Advanced Therapies Apprenticeship Community Programme
Human Resources - most often I partner with internal HR resources but can provide an appropriate level of strategic HR resources to complement any existing internal resources - often in partnership with Otter HR
Recruitment - on occasions recruitment is part of the solution. I can develop recruitment strategies for early career scientists and recruit leaders in partnership with Horton International
Marketing - attracting early career staff requires an external profile emphasising why a client can present a great opportunity for a career
Networking & Events - building opportunities for early career professionals, and those who have lost contact with the community, to build external profile in the community
Specialist Technical Skills - building an external pool of specialists (often termed agile talent) who can support a clients technical strategy and mentor up and coming talent

Otter HR – John Taylor, the owner, has worked with me for over five years. As well as a partner in MyFuturePlan, he helps me provide clients with HR solutions. He has wide industrial HR experience.
Hutton & Co – Frank Hutton, the owner, has been a valuable support in helping me think through career options and advising on the direction of Biosocius. He builds depth into our ability to support career management and is a partner in MyFuturePlan.
Sector analysis
Netty England - Netty is very well known in the bioprocessing community. She has been an important partner in many projects in the last five years. We have complimentary personalities and an unparalleled set of connections in the UK bioprocessing industry - from early career through to established professionals. We first worked together when Netty joined the 3rd generation bioProcessUK team, at the BioIndustry Association, to help run the bioProcessUK Annual Conference (add a link).
The main success over the last five years has been developing the national strategy for cell and gene therapy skills, in partnership with the The Gatsby Charitable Foundation and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult. (insert team photo) This led to the Advanced Therapy Apprenticeship Programme (ATAC) and the establishment of the delivery team with Kate Barclay and Laura Bennett.
It was brilliant to be part of the ATAC team, as is obvious from the photograph - a perfect example of working with complimentary professionals (Biosociates) to deliver for clients. Nearly as good… as the various bioProcessUK teams we built (insert 1st generation bioProcessUK photo).
